Liz Lange pioneered "maternity chic" by creating stylish, body conscious clothes for pregnant women. After working at Vogue magazine, Liz developed the idea for a sophisticated and slim-fitting collection of maternity clothing. In 1997, out of a one-room office, she created Liz Lange Maternity, changing forever the face of maternity fashions. A decade later in 2007, after dressing every major pregnant celebrity, forging licensing deals with Nike and Target.
Liz Lange Maternity for Target is the exclusive maternity department at all Target locations and offers affordable maternity pieces, from flattering jeans and T-shirts to on-trend dresses and swimsuits. In 2012 she celebrated her 10th anniversary of Liz Lange Maternity for Target, marking a decade of helping expecting moms dress stylishly on a budget. Liz is also author of "Liz Lange's Maternity Style: How to look Fabulous during the Most Fashion-Challenged Time."
As a retail and fashion pioneer Liz also developed a ready-to-wear collection for HSN, Completely Me™ by Liz Lange. Liz is the only maternity designer to be a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America and is a regular contributor and fashion expert to several leading publications and broadcast outlets. Along with her sister, Liz co-founded the popular woman's shopping blog Shopafrolic.com
Liz is actively involved in many charities and is a spokesperson for cervical cancer awareness. Most recently she has partnered with Jhpiego, a global health nonprofit dedicated to improving the health of women and families in developing countries, to raise awareness of maternal and child health issues.
